Berklee alumnus Oscar Acevedo B.M. '83 presents a clinic on musician marketing concepts in Latin America.
Drawing from personal experience, he will discuss what it's like to become a jazz artist in a country such as Colombia. Students will learn about major festivals and venues, as well as how to promote bands in Colombia.
The Oscar Acevedo Quartet has been performing since 1982, featuring a repertoire that includes jazz standards, original compositions, and Colombian popular music in a jazz setting.
